DMCC – Dubai Multi Commodities Centre is one of the largest and most successful free trade zones in Dubai and worldwide. Established in 2002 by the Dubai government, it aims to attract international businesses and facilitate global trade. Currently, the DMCC ecosystem includes 24,000 global member businesses with annual revenues of $1 trillion, contributing to 11% of Dubai’s FDI.
The free trade zone is led by Ahmed Bin Sulayem, often referred to as the Elon Musk of the Middle East. His visionary leadership has rapidly elevated DMCC to the top position in the global free trade zone rankings. Under his guidance, DMCC has expanded its diverse range of activities, including trade, investment, and services across various sectors such as tea, coffee, services, investment, construction, gold, diamonds, and financial services.
